Waves Chosen for You
Kedungu offers fun, mellow waves — usually less crowded than Bali’s most famous spots — ideal for improvers, with the occasional punchy day for advanced surfers. When conditions line up, we also head to nearby breaks along Bali’s west coast.

How long should I stay at Seaside Tribe?
• 2–3 nights: A first taste of the Tribe — perfect if you’ve never surfed and aren’t sure if it’s for you.
• 4–7 nights: For beginners with a little experience who want routine, video feedback, and steady progress.
• 7–21 days: For fully committed surfers aiming for real, noticeable improvement.
Start any day (2-night minimum) — one semi-private lesson per day (except on arrival & departure days), with timing based on tides, swell, and your level.

When is the best time / season to come?
• All year round: Warm water and plenty of Surf for all Levels.
• Dry season (Jun–Sept): The most consistent conditions. Frequent swells and mostly offshore winds (can be breezy). Drier air and a less intense sun make afternoons great for exploring. If you don’t like heat, this is your time. Still great for beginners & intermediates.
• Shoulder season (Mar–May & Oct–Nov): Playful swells and plenty of mellow days — ideal for exploring hidden gems around Kedungu. You can still score small, glassy waves even when surf sites show so-so forecasts. Hot and humid.
• Rainy season (Dec–Feb): More variable, with some wet/windy days. When Kedungu isn’t ideal, we’ll drive to the other coast or nearby alternatives — and you can still find waves and often line-ups with fewer people.
Good to know: Water can feel a little fresher in July/August; a shorty or light springsuit/wetsuit top helps.. We set surf times daily based on tides, swell, and your level.
For surfers rebuilding confidence
If you’ve been surfing for a while but feel nervous after a tough session or crowded line-up, Kedungu is an ideal place to reconnect with the ocean. Gentle but “real” waves make it easy to take one step back — and move forward with confidence.
