Our Surf & Stay is open to adults and children aged 8+. Our space is not ideally suited for younger children, but we’re happy to discuss individual cases.

Each room hosts max. 2 persons; the Drifter Suite can fit one additional child (approx. 8–12 yrs) on a sofa bed (80 × 175 cm). Please contact us before booking with a child so we can see if it’s a good fit.

YOUR RESERVATION

Please be informed that by making an online reservation for a stay at the Seaside Tribe - Boutique Surf Stay & Retreat you accept and agree to our terms & conditions as following. The online booking through our website is binding and a deposit payment of 30% of the total booking sum will be collected when you make the booking. The remaining balance can be paid on the day you arrive to our place and can be paid with credit card (Visa/Master) or cash.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You can cancel your reservation free of charge minus a handling fee of IDR 350'000 (approx. EUR 16) up to 90 days before arrival (we will return your remaining balance via our payment system. Differences in the returned amount are possible and can occur due to currency conversion rate, please note that this is out of our responsibility. Any booking that is cancelled between 89 and 22 days before your arrival day costs 30% of the total amount of the booking (= deposit payment).

Any booking that is cancelled between 21 and 8 days before your arrival day costs 50% of the total amount of your booking and the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card you have used via our booking system or will be requested via payment link if automatic charge fails.

Any booking that is cancelled between 7 and  1 days before your arrival day costs 80% of the total amount of your booking and the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card you have used via our booking system or will be requested via payment link if automatic charge fails.

Any booking that is cancelled later than 1 day before arrival will cost 100% of the total amount of your booking and  the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card you have used via our booking system or will be requested via payment link if automatic charge fails. If you arrive late or decide to leave early, the nights not spent will not be refunded.

Date changes up to 90 days before arrival are free of charge (seasonal prices might change the price of your stay), after that a handling fee of IDR 350'000 (approx. EUR 16) may be applied, date changes are only accepted till 30 days before your arrival day. After that our rules of cancellation will be applied. Date changes can only be used once per booking.

 HOW TO CANCEL OR CHANGE THE DATE?

If you wish to cancel your reservation or change the date of your booking, please send an e-mail to [email protected]. Please note that your cancellation / change must be confirmed by us.

HOUSE RULES

Check-In time is 14:00 and Check-out time 12:00, please let us know your approx. time of arrival (this is particularly important if you arrive later than 20:00 as we do not have around the clock 'reception' staff.

Our quiet hours are between 22:00 and 07:00. We have 2 cats, other Pets are not allowed on the property.

All prices shown are including government taxes. Prices and any availability stated on our website or in this confirmation may be mistaken. We hold the right to cancel your reservation in such a case after notification.

SURFING & LIABILITY

By joining any surf session, guests acknowledge that surfing is an adventure and water sport involving inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injuries resulting from surfboards, equipment, ocean conditions, tides, reefs, rocks, wildlife, or other participants. Seaside Tribe takes all reasonable precautions to ensure guest safety through trained instructors, small group ratios, and careful spot selection. However, participation is at the guest’s own risk.

Guests joining the Surf & Stay experience agree to:

• Follow the guidance and instructions of Seaside Tribe surf instructors at all times.

• Inform instructors of any injuries, illnesses, or limitations prior to lessons.

• Maintain valid travel and health insurance that covers surfing and other adventure activities.

While rare, serious injury or drowning can occur in connection with ocean activities. Seaside Tribe cannot be held liable for injuries or damages resulting from inherent risks of surfing. All participants are required to sign a Surf Waiver & Safety Agreement before joining their first lesson, acknowledging the above conditions and assuming personal responsibility for their participation.
